Amanda began her creative journey as an intern for Donna Karan, where she immersed herself in the world of apparel and accessories during her college years. Upon graduating, she secured a position in shoe design in New York City, where she successfully launched a collection under the Vince Camuto Group. The wealth of knowledge she acquired during her time in New York, complemented by her international travels, served as a foundation as she transitioned to the Washington, D.C. area.

As her passions evolved from apparel and accessories to interior design and renovations, Amanda took a significant step forward in 2018 by founding her full-service interior design firm, Details + Design. Balancing the challenges of building a new business with starting a family, she gradually began to welcome clients on board. After the arrival of her second child, Amanda felt it was time to expand her business and took the bold step of hiring her first two employees in 2019.

Just six months later, Amanda and her team proudly inaugurated a storefront and design studio in the vibrant Eastport area of Annapolis, Maryland. Responding to the burgeoning demand in the design and build sector, they expanded once again by opening a furniture and cabinet showroom across the street, featuring a comprehensive material library and a dedicated design team.

Amanda believes that every space should exude warmth and a sense of being lived in. It should incorporate natural layers and textures to create a flexible foundation, allowing for creativity in scale and personalization. With these fundamental elements in place, transforming a space becomes a seamless and effortless journey.
